Careers

FAQs

Why are you changing how engagements are structured?

USA has grown into a family of specialized companies, each focused on a different area of construction risk management. To support this growth and improve coordination, we’ve introduced USA Construction Risk Solutions, LLC (USACRS) as an administrative company that handles proposals, contracts, and billing across all USA entities.

Our full range of services now includes:

  • Budget Reviews, Draw Inspections, and Completion Commitments via USA Construction Consultants (USACC)
  • Funds Control Services via USA Construction Funds Management (USACFM)
  • Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) via USA Property Condition Consultants (USAPCC)

This structure keeps each company legally separate while giving clients a single point of contact for communication and payment.

Why are there multiple companies involved?

Each entity is a distinct legal company that focuses on a specific service area. This structure allows us to provide specialized expertise, manage risk internally, and clearly identify which party is responsible for each engagement.

Who is my actual service provider?

Your Proposal will name the USA company performing the work. It will be one of the following:

  • USACC – Budget Reviews, Draw Inspections, Completion Commitments
  • USACFM – Funds Control Services
  • USAPCC – Property Condition Assessments (PCAs)

USACRS never performs services. It exists to facilitate contract delivery, administrative coordination, and billing.

Who should we set up in our vendor portal?

If you plan to engage with multiple USA companies (e.g., USACC and USACFM), we recommend setting up USA Construction Risk Solutions, LLC (USACRS) as the vendor. This simplifies onboarding, invoicing, and payment processing.

If you’re only working with USACC (e.g., for Budget Reviews or Draw Inspections), you can continue using your current vendor setup – no need to change anything.

We already work with USA Construction Consultants (USACC) for Budget Reviews and Draw Inspections. Do we need to change anything?

No. If you’re only working with USACC and not using services from other USA entities, you can continue with your current vendor setup.
You’re not required to add USACRS as a vendor unless you begin using additional services.

What if we want to engage multiple USA companies (for example, Funds Control and Budget Review services)?

That’s exactly what this updated structure is designed to support. If you engage more than one USA company (e.g., USACFM for Funds Control Services and USACC for Budget Reviews and Draw Inspections), we will coordinate everything through a single administrative entity: USACRS.

  • You’ll receive separate Proposals for each scope of work, clearly identifying the service provider.
  • Invoices will also identify the correct provider, but can all be paid to USACRS for convenience.
  • You only need to add one vendor in your system: USA Construction Risk Solutions, LLC (USACRS).

This approach reduces administrative friction while maintaining full legal separation of service responsibilities.

How will invoices be handled?

Invoices will:

  • Clearly identify the actual service provider (e.g., USACC)
  • Include the following language:
“For convenience, payment may be made to USA Construction Risk Solutions, LLC, who will remit funds to the appropriate service provider.”

This ensures transparency while simplifying your payment process.

Will this affect our records or compliance?

No. All documentation will show the correct service provider, and USACRS will only facilitate contract delivery and payment. Your internal records can continue to reflect the actual entity providing services.

Can we add all companies as vendors instead?

Yes. If your internal policy requires it.
However, most clients prefer to add only USACRS to minimize vendor setup and maintenance. If you begin working with new entities in the future, USACRS will still be your single point of payment.

What happens if we start using services from another USA company in the future?

If you engage USACFM (Funds Control Services) or USAPCC (Property Condition Assessments), we recommend adding USACRS as a vendor.
This gives you a single point of contact for administrative coordination while still keeping each company’s responsibilities legally separate.

If we use multiple USA companies on a project, will we receive one combined proposal?

No. Each USA company you engage will issue its own Proposal outlining the scope, pricing, and responsibilities for its services.
Even when services are coordinated through USACRS, each engagement is with the specific legal entity performing the work.

You will continue working with the same people you’ve always known at USA, nothing is changing about our team or your day-to-day contacts. This structural change is purely administrative.

Does this structure impact how reports or deliverables are issued?

No. All reports and deliverables will continue to come from the USA company providing the service. USACRS may help coordinate formatting and delivery, but it does not alter the content or who is responsible for the work.

Who do we contact with questions during a project?

USACRS will serve as your administrative point of contact. For service-specific questions, you’ll be connected directly with the appropriate USA company providing that service (e.g., USACC for Draw Inspections). You’ll always have access to the right person.
